James B Beard aka Noodin |
Scheduling for
2015 to make presentations around the New England area. The programs offer focus
on various teachings given to me by Elder, Larry Matrious and other Native
teachers of the Algonquin people who call themselves the Anishinaabe.
Each program is
designed to run for two hours and thirty minutes. They consist of a brief
opening in Native Tradition, presentation of the teaching and open discussion.
How to know and work with your animal guides ~
James Beard aka Noodin, Cultural Story Teller, Educator, Speaker, Author
We
all have animal helpers and we perceive them in many ways. To understand the
animal that helps you requires an understanding of what needs to be fulfilled
in your own life. The books tell us how some animals are meant to be
understood. The true understanding is much more personal for each of us and may
be completely different than what the books say. Then again, it could be right
on.
Noodin
tells us native stories about Animals that helped the people during times of
change, stress and cultural development. These stories gradually evolve into
his own personal experience with animals that have guided him along his journey
into a life of beauty and contentment.
